ADVANTAGES

Superior Calcium Ion Release

Delivers higher calcium ion release vs. competitors — 542 (Day 7) and 1991 (Day 30) — stimulating hydroxyapatite deposition and secondary dentin bridge formation.

Preserves Pulp Vitality

Maintains an alkaline pH environment that supports tissue healing, inhibits bacterial activity, and encourages natural apatite formation around the pulp.

Durable Protective Seal

Consistent calcium release contributes to a long-lasting protective seal, reducing the risk of microleakage and post-operative sensitivity.

Instant Light-Cure Workflow

Light-cure capability allows immediate placement of the final restoration right after application — no waiting time, faster chairside workflow.

Precise Syringe Delivery

The syringe delivery system enables controlled, accurate placement in deep cavity preparations, even in difficult-to-reach areas.

Non-Slumping, Easy Handling

Non-slumping consistency ensures the material stays in place after placement, making it easy to sculpt and control during clinical application.

Highly Radiopaque & Moisture-Stable

Remains clearly visible on radiographs over time and maintains material integrity in moist clinical environments.

Broad Clinical Versatility

Suitable for direct pulp capping, indirect pulp capping, and protective liner use — replacing calcium hydroxide, GIC, RMGI, IRM/ZOE, and other base materials in a single product.

U.S.-Origin Technology

Developed with proven U.S.-origin tricalcium silicate technology, providing a clinically validated foundation for pulp protection.

DESCRIPTION

NANOFIL Nova® TheraCalm LC is a light-cured, resin-modified calcium silicate pulp protectant and liner developed with U.S.-origin technology. Designed for both direct and indirect pulp capping, it provides a reliable protective barrier for the dental pulpal complex — helping preserve pulp vitality and support long-term restorative success.

Formulated with tricalcium silicate particles dispersed in a hydrophilic monomer matrix, NANOFIL Nova® TheraCalm LC delivers controlled calcium ion release that stimulates hydroxyapatite deposition and promotes secondary dentin bridge formation. Its alkaline pH environment actively supports tissue healing and encourages apatite formation around the pulp.

The syringe delivery system allows for precise, controlled placement in deep cavity preparations. Its non-slumping consistency ensures easy handling, while light-cure capability allows immediate placement of the final restoration — streamlining the clinical workflow without compromising performance.

NANOFIL Nova® TheraCalm LC is moisture-stable and highly radiopaque, remaining clearly visible on radiographs over time. It can be used as a direct substitute for calcium hydroxide, glass ionomer (GIC), resin-modified glass ionomer (RMGI), IRM/ZOE, and other base materials — making it a versatile, single-material solution for pulp protection across a wide range of clinical scenarios.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
NANOFIL Nova® TheraCalm LC Light-Cured Resin-Modified Calcium Silicate Pulp Protectant and Liner
How does NanoFil Nova Universal Composite compare to other premium universal composites in handling and polishability?
Our U.S. lab formulated Nova with a non-sticky, sculptable matrix that matches the creamy handling clinicians expect from top-tier universal composites. The Soft-Flow variant achieves comparable high-gloss polishability and chameleon effect, validated through side-by-side clinical evaluations.
Q2: Is it compatible with my existing bonding agents and curing lights?
A: Yes. NanoFil Nova Universal Composite is compatible with all major adhesive systems (total-etch, self-etch, universal) and standard LED/halogen curing lights (450-480 nm). No protocol changes required.
Q3: What is the price advantage compared to other premium universal composites?
A: We typically offer 30-40% cost savings versus other premium universal composites at comparable quality tiers, with additional volume discounts for distributor partners. Exact pricing is available upon request.
Q4: Does it have CE/ISO certification?
A: Yes. All NanoFil Nova products are CE marked (MDR 2017/745) and manufactured under ISO 13485 quality management. FDA 510(k) submission is in progress.
Q5: Can I use it for both anterior and posterior restorations?
A: Absolutely. The dual-viscosity design covers both indications: Soft-Flow for anterior esthetics and Firm for posterior strength. It is truly a universal system.
Q6: What is the MOQ and lead time?
A: MOQ starts at 100 units per shade with 2-3 weeks lead time for standard orders. Sample packs (5 shades x 2 units) are available immediately from stock.
